Due studenti americani, David e Jack, stanno facendo un viaggio a piedi attraverso la brughiera inglese. Attaccati da una creatura misteriosa, Jack muore e David sopravvive, ma viene morso. Ricoverato a Londra, inizia a soffrire di incubi feroci e a vedere Jack che ritorna come non-morto per avvertirlo: alla prossima luna piena diventerà un lupo mannaro.
