Lee Byeong-gu, un giovane uomo segnato da traumi e paranoie, è convinto che la Terra stia per essere invasa dagli alieni. È certo che un potente dirigente farmaceutico, Kang Man-shik, sia in realtà un extraterrestre infiltrato.
Determinato a “salvare il pianeta”, Byeong-gu rapisce l’uomo e lo sottopone a interrogatori e prove deliranti, assistito dalla fidanzata, un’ex acrobata circense.

Mentre la polizia indaga sulla scomparsa del dirigente, il confine tra follia e realtà si assottiglia sempre di più, fino a un finale sorprendente che ribalta completamente la prospettiva dello spettatore.
